Bend, twist and twirl filigree to make your own creative settings, bails, rings and much more. The bend-ability of Vintaj Natural Brass ranges from soft to medium-soft and to medium-hard. Most of the filigree's are soft and easy to manipulate. 

How to make a creative setting using filigree

Step 1. Turn in the edges of the filigree to approximately the same size as the stone or focal using bale making pliers (found in our tool section).

Step 2. Set the stone or focal inside the filigree.

Step 3. Use chain nose pliers to turn the edges in tightly to the stones.

Step 4. Use chain nose pliers to crimp down the filigree edges. Go through the edges again and re-crimp until they are secure.

Step 5. For use as a charm, pendant, or connector, pass a jump ring through an opening in the filigree and close.
